The event welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Quang Tuấn, Deputy Director of the Institute for Digital Transformation and Learning Resources, and M.A. Nguyễn Thanh Nam from Hue University’s Office.
During the workshop, students were introduced to an overview of the digital world, the role of AI in education, and the HUE-S digital transformation ecosystem. The core content focused on foundational digital competencies for law students, based on UNESCO and Vietnam’s competency frameworks, which include five skill groups:
- Information Management
- Communication and Collaboration
- Digital Content Creation
- Digital Safety, Legal and Ethical Awareness
- Problem Solving with Technology
A key highlight was the session on "AI Applications in Learning", where students practiced using tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, NotebookML, Canva AI, and Gamma to summarize legal provisions, build course outlines, and design legal posters.
In addition to tool usage, the program emphasized AI safety and ethics, helping students identify risks such as misinformation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism.
Through this workshop, Freshmen K49 not only gained a clear understanding of the digital competency framework for learners but also learned how to effectively apply AI tools in their studies. This serves as an essential foundation for students at Hue University of Law to proactively adapt to the digital era and contribute to building a smart and innovative university environment.
