WORKSHOP "APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) IN TEACHING AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH"

On the morning of August 15, 2025, University of Law, Hue University organized a workshop on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and scientific research for lecturers and researchers. In the context that AI is becoming a powerful assistant in designing lectures, supporting learning, analyzing data and writing scientific articles, the program aims to equip basic knowledge, update the latest trends and share practical experiences from leading experts.
Attending the Workshop on the guest side were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quang Lich, Head of Department of Engineering and Technology, Hue University, Professor, Dr. Truong Nguyen Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board of Hoa Sen University. On the side of the University of Law, Hue University, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Rector of the University, together with leaders of units, heads and deputy heads of faculties, departments, centers and all lecturers of the University.
In his opening speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Rector of the University emphasized, “Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not only a technological trend of the times, but also a powerful tool that opens up opportunities for innovation in teaching and scientific research. Understanding and applying AI correctly and creatively will help lecturers improve teaching effectiveness, while promoting stronger research activities, connecting with social practices and the needs of learners.”
The program's keynote speaker, Professor Truong Nguyen Thanh - a scientist with an impressive academic and educational management journey, shared information related to AI applications in education and scientific research; the benefits of using AI in teaching; personalizing the learning process, enhancing the interaction between learners and content, supporting learning data analysis to improve teaching methods; and sharing new technology development trends, skills that lecturers and students need to equip themselves with to adapt and effectively exploit the potential of artificial intelligence in the digital age.
Through the Workshop, the University hopes to create an open academic space where lecturers and researchers can access modern technology trends and listen to sharing from leading experts, especially Professor Truong Nguyen Thanh, who has many years of experience and passion in applying technology to higher education.
