University of Law, Hue University and Philanthropists Join Hands to Support Students Affected by Floods in Dak Lak, Gia Lai, and Khanh Hoa Provinces.

On the afternoon of December 3, 2025, University of Law, Hue University organized a gift-giving ceremony to support students studying at the University whose families live in areas affected by the November 2025 floods in Dak Lak (formerly Phu Yen), Gia Lai (formerly Binh Dinh), and Khanh Hoa provinces.

Attending the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Rector of the University; Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Chairman of the University Council, along with the Heads and Deputy Heads of departments and students receiving support, attended the ceremony.
With a total budget of 114 million VND, the program aimed to provide timely support and share the difficulties faced by students affected by natural disasters. Accordingly, 73 students received 1,000,000 VND each; 13 students received 2,000,000 VND each; and 5 students received 3,000,000 VND each.

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong, the Rector of the University, shared words of encouragement with the students: “The University hopes that this gift will help alleviate your difficulties and give you more motivation to study with peace of mind. Despite the challenges posed by natural disasters, please remain confident and strive to overcome them, because behind you, there is always the care and support of your lecturers and the University.”

Previously, to support people in areas severely affected by floods, the University organized a delegation to directly visit Dak Lak province (formerly Phu Yen) to distribute 350 gift packages worth a total of 280 million VND. The gifts included sticky rice cakes, rice, fish sauce, biscuits, milk, bottled water, clothing, blankets, and cash, contributing to helping people quickly stabilize their lives after the floods.
This support activity for students affected by natural disasters by the University of Law, Hue University, not only has material significance but also demonstrates social responsibility and shows the bond between the university and its students during difficult times.
