On September 21, 2025, the Youth Union – Student Association of the University of Law, Hue University organized the Welcome Day for K49 New Members in a joyful, vibrant, and energetic atmosphere. This annual event is held to warmly welcome the new generation of students, leaving a memorable first impression on their journey of study and growth at the University of Law, Hue University.

Attending the program on behalf of Reconnaissance Battalion 20, Hue City Military Command, was Captain Lê Ngọc Hiếu – Political Officer of Reconnaissance Company 20, Operations Department of Hue City Military Command – along with other units accompanying the Welcome Day.

On behalf of the University of Law, Hue University, the event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đoàn Đức Lương, Rector; Dr. Nguyễn Hồng Sơn, Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Duy Phương, Vice Rector; MSc. Huỳnh Tây, Secretary of the Youth Union; MSc. Nguyễn Thanh Bình; heads and deputy heads of the university’s affiliated units; the Executive Committee of the Youth Union – Student Association; together with the participation of more than 1,400 members and students representing subordinate youth branches.

The program began with a solemn Flag Salute Ceremony, reflecting the pride and sense of responsibility of the young generation toward the Fatherland and their university.

In his opening speech, MSc. Huỳnh Tây, Secretary of the Youth Union, shared:
“The Welcome Day for New Members is an opportunity for K49 students to embark on a new and exciting journey, where you can build connections, develop skills, nurture ideals, and fuel your youthful aspirations. We firmly believe that with enthusiasm, creativity, and solidarity, the K49 generation will continue to uphold and promote the proud traditions of the Youth of the University of Law, Hue University.”

The atmosphere of the event quickly became vibrant with a colorful Flashmob performance. The new students presented energetic dances under the theme “Hue Law Students – Proudly Vietnamese,” showcasing the spirit of youth, creativity, and the aspiration to make their mark. More than just an artistic performance, it carried a message of connection and affirmed the unity of K49 students in their new shared home.

A special highlight of the program was the Teambuilding activity. Through a series of group games, freshmen had the chance to practice teamwork, flexibility, mutual support, and bonding with one another. Laughter, handshakes, and harmonious coordination left many unforgettable impressions right on their first day stepping into university life.

The Welcome Day for K49 Freshmen of the University of Law, Hue University was not just a greeting event, but also a meaningful beginning of a new journey – a place where young people are inspired with enthusiasm, encouraged to cultivate learning, dedicate themselves, and grow in a holistic way.
