On June 24, 2022, The French Embassy in Vietnam organized a ceremony to present the Vietnamese translation of the French Civil Code to all of its legal partners. 

On behalf of the University of Law, Hue University, under the orders of the University's Rector, Dr. Hoang Thi Hai Yen, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Law - In charge of Francophone cooperation at Law University attended the ceremony and received the translation of the Code from the Embassy. 

Giving speeches at the ceremony, Mr. Jean-François de Montgolfier, Director of Civil Affairs and Seal at the French Ministry of Justice and Ms. Nguyen Chi Lan, Deputy Director of the Department of Civil and Economic Law - Vietnamese Ministry of Justice has affirmed their desire to strengthen judicial cooperation between France and Vietnam.

At the ceremony, the Representatives of the Law University also met and discussed with officials, experts and researchers in the legal field. In particular, Mr. Bela HEGEDUS, cooperation attaché, officer in charge of Justice - Legal - Administration of the Embassy had a short exchange and promised to strengthen the cooperation in the near future with the University of Law.

The University of Law, Hue University is one of the partners of the French Embassy in Vietnam. The International Francophone conferences organized by the University always receive the attention of the Embassy. In 2021 and 2022, the University of Law has coordinated with the French Embassy and the Francophone University Agency (AUF) to launch a webinar series on legal topics for students and receive the attention of a large number of students. 

This translation has been saved on USB sticks and distributed so that universities and training facilities can readily use them for information access and distribution. The PDF version of the French Civil Code can be downloaded here: link
