HUL STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN TRAINING BOOTCAMP ON UTILIZING AI IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
Update day: 20-05-2026On the afternoon of May 19, 2026, the Department of Science, Technology, and International Cooperation, in coordination with the University's Youth Union, organized an artificial intelligence (AI) application training program for scientific research tailored for students, themed "AI for Legal Research Bootcamp - From Zero to Research Project."
The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Dinh Lành, Head of the Department of Science, Technology, and International Cooperation; Mr. Huynh Tay (M.A.), Secretary of the Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh (M.A.), President of the Student Association; representatives from various functional departments, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union and Student Association, and a large number of current students.
At the bootcamp, students were equipped with foundational knowledge and practical skills regarding the application of AI in legal research. The program focused heavily on the role of AI in research activities, academic integrity and ethics, and the limitations to consider when using AI tools. Furthermore, students were guided on skills to discover and develop research ideas, construct research outlines, and utilize AI-assisted methods for legal analysis and peer review. The program also emphasized the critical role of independent critical thinking, analytical capacity, and the academic responsibility of researchers in the context of increasing AI integration in current academic activities.
Through this program, the University of Law, Hue University aims to empower students to utilize AI tools effectively and ethically within legal research standards. Concurrently, this activity supports students in conceptualizing ideas, drafting research proposals, enhancing academic capacity, and adapting to the evolving digital transformation in higher education and research environments.
