HUL STUDENTS EXCELLENTLY WIN SECOND PRIZE AT THE MINISTRY-LEVEL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AWARD
Update day: 09-11-2025On 08 November 2025, the Closing and Awarding Ceremony for the Science and Technology Award for students in higher education institutions in 2025 was held at Nha Trang University.

Attending the ceremony were Comrade Dr. Nguyễn Minh Triết – Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Student Association; Associate Professor Dr. Phạm Quang Hưng – Director General of the Department of Science, Technology and Information (Ministry of Education & Training); Dr. Hà Hoàng Yến, Director of the Vietnam Innovation & Technology Support Fund (VIFOTEC). On behalf of Nha Trang University there were Dr. Khổng Trung Thắng – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Professor Dr. Phạm Quốc Hùng; Dr. Trần Doãn Hùng – Vice Rector of the University; together with representatives of the leadership of ministries, sectors, universities and colleges across the country, along with a large number of lecturers and students.
With research results that demonstrate academic rigor, practical relevance, and meaningful contributions to the scientific community, the student group from Hue University of Law (HUL) excellently won the Second Prize at the 2025 Science and Technology Award for Students in Higher Education Institutions – one of the prestigious awards honoring typical student research projects nationwide. Their topic was: "Research on community reintegration activities for minors who have completed their prison sentences in Thừa Thiên Huế province."

The research group included: Project leader Lê Huyền Đoàn; Members: Lê Thị Hải Bình, Hồ Thị Thuỳ Dung, Lê Nguyễn Tường Uyên; Supervising lecturer: PhD Candidate Trần Cao Thành; Department in charge: Centre for Legal Practice and Entrepreneurship.

The project demonstrates serious academic investment, reflects the deep humanistic spirit and sense of social responsibility of law students in contributing to supporting vulnerable groups, promoting community reintegration efforts, and ensuring human rights.
Notably, this project had previously won the First Prize at the Hue University level, affirming the practical value and profound social significance of the work. Continuing to win the Second Prize at the national level is a clear testament to the research capacity, serious academic spirit, and creativity of HUL students.

This achievement not only affirms the quality of training and the scientific research orientation of HUL students but also serves as an important driving force, promoting the student scientific research movement to become more in-depth and closely linked with the development trend of the economy and the practical requirements of society.
