Hue University of Law solemnly organizes Vietnamese Teachers' Day Ceremony
Update day: 20-11-2025On the morning of November 20th, the University of Law, Hue University, solemnly organized the Vietnamese Teachers' Day Ceremony to recognize and express deep gratitude to the teachers, visiting lecturers, experts, scientists, staff, and employees of the University for their contributions to education, training, and the development of high-quality legal human resources.
Attending the ceremony on behalf of the University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Rector ; Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong, former Vice Rector, along with former leaders of the University, Faculties across different periods, members of the Party Committee, University Council; heads and deputy heads of units, and all staff, employees, and students of the University of Law, Hue University.
In the academic year 2024–2025, Hue University of Law continued to affirm its position as a prestigious undergraduate and postgraduate training institution in the field of law. Over the past academic year, the University achieved quality accreditation standards for two postgraduate programs, the Doctoral and Master's programs in Economic Law, thereby completing the accreditation of 100% of the University's current training programs. This achievement affirms the quality, reputation, and continuous efforts of the University in enhancing the effectiveness of training and scientific research, meeting the requirements for innovation and integration in higher education.
In particular, the University successfully organized the 10th-anniversary celebration (March 3, 2015 – March 3, 2025), a significant milestone affirming the journey of establishment and growth of University of Law, Hue University, in the field of legal education. Within the framework of the anniversary celebration, the University was honored to be awarded the Third-Class Labor Order by the President, recognizing its contributions to training and fostering legal human resources in the Central and Central Highlands regions, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
Also in the past year, the University was honored to have 02 managerial staff and lecturers examined and recognized by the State Council for Professor Titles as meeting the standards and being awarded the title of Associate Professor, along with 04 lecturers who successfully defended their Doctoral dissertations. These are outstanding achievements, demonstrating the strong development of the teaching staff in terms of both professional qualifications and research capabilities.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Rector of the University, extended his congratulations and expressed deep gratitude to generations of teachers and unit leaders who have been attached to and dedicated themselves to the growth and development of the University. He emphasized:
"Vietnamese Teachers' Day is an occasion for us to reflect on the efforts, dedication, and affirm the immense role of teachers in the cause of education. Our University has achieved its current position thanks to the joint efforts, consensus, and dedication of the staff and lecturers over the years. I hope that all teachers, staff, and employees will continue to promote the spirit of unity, creative innovation, and flexible adaptation to successfully fulfill the tasks of teaching, scientific research, and community service."
At the ceremony, the University honored and presented flowers to congratulate 02 new Associate Professors: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Dinh Lanh, Head of the Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Mong Diep, Head of the Faculty of Economic Law, along with new Doctors: Dr. Bui Thi Thuan Anh, lecturer at the Faculty of Administrative Law; Dr. Nguyen Thi Nu, lecturer at the Faculty of Administrative Law; Dr. Le Khac Dai, lecturer at the Faculty of International Law; and Dr. Nguyen Duy Thanh, lecturer at the Faculty of Economic Law. These achievements are a shared source of pride for the entire University, and they affirm the sustainable development of the young intellectual team in the field of law.
