On the afternoon of May 13, 2025, the University of Law, Hue University held a ceremony to commend and reward its men’s and women’s football teams for their outstanding performance in winning the championship at the Hue Students 2025 Football Tournament – Sunworld Ba Na Hills Cup.

Overview of the Award Ceremony

In attendance were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Party Committee Secretary and Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and Vice Rector; heads of university units; and all members of the men’s and women’s football teams who achieved this remarkable victory.

The Hue Students 2025 Football Tournament – Sunworld Ba Na Hills Cup took place from April 15 to April 27, featuring numerous intense and high-quality matches. The tournament saw participation from 19 teams representing various member universities of Hue University.

Demonstrating resilience, determination, and strong competitive spirit, both football teams from the University of Law, Hue University overcame tough opponents, advanced to the finals, and secured convincing victories, bringing pride and glory to the institution.

Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector, and Chairman of the University’s Professional Sports Association, extended his congratulations and praised the teams’ fighting spirit and unwavering dedication. He emphasized that this success reflects not only continuous training and effort but also the solidarity, determination, and aspiration of Hue Law students. It affirms the University’s commitment to holistic student development, excelling in both academics and extracurricular activities.

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong presented awards to the two championship teams. The University granted a cash award of 10 million VND, and recognized 3 teams and 57 individuals, including players, coaches, and logistics staff, for their outstanding contributions.

In addition, Tay Thanh Consulting and Construction Joint Stock Company, the tournament sponsor, awarded 90 million VND to the two teams in celebration of their achievements.

This resounding victory not only brought honor to Hue University of Law, but also enhanced its reputation - showcasing the image of Hue Law students as brave, dynamic, confident, and committed.
