On June 21, 2023, the University of Law, Hue University engaged in a fruitful discussion and working session with Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Xuan Thao from the  University of Washington, USA.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong delivered a speech during the working session.

The working session was graced by the presence of Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Xuan Thao, Director of the Asian Law Center at the School of Law, University of Washington, USA.

Representing the University of Law, Hue University were Associate Professor Nguyen Duy Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector, as well as Mr. Nguyen Hong Son, Chairman of the University Council. Esteemed heads of departments and centers from the university also attended the session.

During his address at the working session, Associate Professor Nguyen Duy Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector of the University of Law, Hue University, expressed immense pleasure in welcoming Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Xuan Thao to collaborate with the university.

Associate Professor Nguyen Duy Phuong provided an introduction to the rich history and progressive development of the University of Law. He conveyed the university's eagerness to exchange experiences in international law and US law through this collaborative program, as well as future conferences and seminars between the University of Law, Hue University, and the University of Washington, USA.

During the working session, Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Xuan Thao shared valuable insights and experiences in training activities, science and technology, international cooperation, as well as student and faculty exchanges between the University of Law, Hue University, and the University of Washington, USA. As part of the visit, Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Xuan Thao also attended a seminar where he discussed emerging legal issues in artificial intelligence with faculty members and students of the University.

Further collaborations between the two universities are expected in the near future.
